We're delighted to have you join us. This guide explains what to do after registration and what to expect next as you prepare for the competition.
The Preliminary Round is scheduled for 13–15 March 2026.
All official updates, reminders, and important notices will be shared only through the announcement group. We will no longer send individual messages.

Please check that your registration details are correct.
Steps:
• Visit Hippo Portal.
• Under "For HIPPO Participants" section, enter your name and date of birth (as per confirmation message).
• Check all your details and make sure it is accurate.
• If any details are wrong, WhatsApp us to amend.
Note: Exact competition time will be assigned in March 2026. Hippo Student ID, Zoom details, and exam guide will also be released in March.
We offer two practice options. Both contain the same set of questions.
Option 1: Download past year papers in PDF format
Includes Preliminary Round and National Final papers.

If you're looking to better prepare for Hippo, we recommend joining our CEFR Online English Lesson. This weekly tuition class is based on the CEFR syllabus. It covers the general aspects of English, including Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing, and Use of English (Hippo is aligned with CEFR).
