The SiL STEM Series Test 2025 is open to all Malaysian students who are 15 years old and below.

• Maths: For students aged 15 and below
• Science: For students aged 15 and below
• Computer/Digital Literacy: For students aged 12 and below

Option 1: Online at Home
• Date: 8 November 2025 (Saturday)
• Duration: Around 30-60 minutes for each test.
• Participants can take the test online from the comfort of their home.
• Participants can select their preferred timeslot range during registration. A fixed timeslot will be assigned and confirmed closer to the test date.
• They must log into Zoom for invigilation.
• A laptop with a webcam, a stable internet connection, and a quiet room are required.

Option 2: At School (Paper-based or Online)
This option is only available if the participant's school is conducting the test.
• Date: 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 November 2025
• Duration: Around 30-60 minutes for each test.
• Participants can take the test at their school or tuition center.
• The test can be either paper-based or online.
• Teachers at the school or center will handle the invigilation.
• The test date can be any time between 5–9 November 2025, with the decision to be made by teachers.

There are 3 STEM subjects: Maths, Science, and Computer/Digital Literacy.
Students may choose to participate in one, two, or all three subjects.

To ensure a fair and age-appropriate experience, students should enroll based on their year of birth (as of 2025).
• Maths & Science: Levels 1–9
• Computer/Digital Literacy: Levels 1–6

Level 2: 8 years old (born 2017)
Level 3: 9 years old (born 2016)
Level 4: 10 years old (born 2015)
Level 5: 11 years old (born 2014)
Level 6: 12 years old (born 2013)

Level 9: 15 years old (born 2010)

👉 Students may also choose to enroll in a higher level if they wish.

Individual Registration

Registration Processing Time
Registrations will be processed within 5 working days. If you do not receive a confirmation message via WhatsApp from 016-2243400 after this period, it may mean your registration was unsuccessful. Please reach out to us via WhatsApp to follow up on your registration status.

(A) STEM Single Package

• Focus on one subject to build a solid foundation.

(B) STEM Duo Package
• Any 2 subjects (Maths + Science / Science + Computer / Maths + Computer)
• Fee: RM120 (Save RM10)
• Strengthen two core areas of STEM for broader skills.

(C) STEM Trio Package
• All 3 subjects (Maths + Science + Computer)
• Fee: RM180 (Save RM15)

IMPORTANT NOTE
The participation fee is refundable only if the participant is sick during the competition dates and unable to attend the replacement session. A medical certificate must be provided.

Each test contains 40 questions.

Each question is worth 1 mark, making the total score 40 marks for each STEM subjects.

Every participating student receives a Certificate of Participation along with a detailed result slip, offering a breakdown of their performance across different subject aspects. More than just reporting scores, we analyse students’ responses to identify their key strengths and areas for improvement.

Each hosting school receives an in-depth performance report, summarising trends across all year levels and highlighting common patterns in student achievement. This data-driven approach, accompanied with qualitative analysis, empowers educators with actionable insights, allowing them to refine their teaching strategies and support their students’ academic growth effectively.

Awards are distributed according to the following framework:
• Top Performance Award (+ Medal):Top 1% participants
• Gold Award: Next 10%
• Silver Award: Next 25%
• Bronze Award: Next 50%
• Certificate of Participation: All remaining participants

Important Notes
• Medals are awarded only to the Top 1% of participants who receive the Top Performance Award.
• Percentile cut-offs may be slightly adjusted depending on the performance of each group.
• In cases where multiple students achieve the same overall score, the allocation of awards may be adjusted accordingly.

Refund is allowed if you are unable to attend the competition on the scheduled date due to health reasons, and no alternative date is available. To request a refund, please provide a valid medical certificate.
